Always verify against the regulator

Before manufacturing, listing, importing, exporting, or making any commercial decision, verify your findings against the authoritative source:

• Australia (TGA): the current Therapeutic Goods (Permissible Ingredients) Determination on legislation.gov.au and the TGA Information Centre.
• Australia (food): the FSANZ Food Standards Code.
• Brazil: ANVISA’s ingredient lists and supplement regulations.
• Canada: Health Canada’s Natural Health Products Ingredients Database (NHPID).

Regulations change. Determinations are reissued. New safety alerts and recalls are published regularly. We update our data on a published schedule, but the regulator’s current text always prevails over our snapshot.

AI outputs are best-effort, not infallible

Our AI regulatory assessments use large language models from Anthropic. They are good at applying known rules to common cases, less good at edge cases, novel ingredients, recent regulatory changes, or anything where the underlying public data is ambiguous. We label every AI verdict and recommend you treat AI outputs as a structured first opinion rather than a final answer.
